Any% (Intermediate)

This is an Intermediate route that gets Zora Armor and does not do Pillar Clip w/o ZA, Rupee Roll, Epona Slide, or Morpheel / Zant w/o ZA. This route is 5 or more minutes slower than the fastest any% route (timing needed).

Runs should start with a blank file on slots 1, 2, and 3 as all files are used during the run.

It is helpful to watch a reference run when learning, as this route document can only go into so much detail. The top runs on the leaderboard use the optimal route, but these older runs follow this route:

  • Kill first two bugs (leave tears)

  • Dig under gate, kill bugs, enter loading zone after sound effect (leave tears)

  • Turn senses off, transform and burn web

  • Kill one or both walltulas with deku baba nuts
    • Alternatively, try to climb past one or both walltulas (requires good RNG)

    • Void before going to Ook to get rid of EBF for King Bulblin 1 later

  • Kill all bulblin riders (should not respawn while attempting Gorge Skip)
  • Kill kargarok with boomerang
  • Leave wagon behind and dash to Gorge Skip area
  • Epona Backhop Over Fence + LJA over Gorge
  • Open gate
  • LJA over Midna trigger
  • Transform wolf
  • Follow Rutela to graveyard

    • Dying with map glitch active is a softlock, so save in Bulblin Camp if worried about dying to fire arrows or King Bulblin
  • Enter Arbiter's Grounds as human

  • Climb the destroyed stairs past the large metal box
  • Cross upper floor of main room on chandelier
  • Enter ghost rat room backwards (don't get the key)
  • Poe 3 Room backwards (kill 2nd redead for red rupee if needed) (300R)
  • Back to main room, enter big door
  • Boss Key Early (get 5R in the skull if needed)
  • Transform wolf and cross next rooms
    • B attack across sand
  • Stalfos with Ball & Chain
  • Fight Death Sword

Getting to City in the Sky

  • Mirror Chamber warp portal
    • If you didn't skip Stallord, you have to zoom in all the way on the map and press Z to enable portals from now on

  • Press Z to talk to Midna about cannon
    • Press B to say 'No' to Midna
    • Map warp to Lake Hylia
    • If you somehow are short on rupees, Fyer has 60
    • [Clawshot / Boomerang]
  • Pay Fyer 300R to fix cannon, enter cannon
