Description

This sequence break uses Map Storage, as well as Random Wrong Warp. It allows you to skip having to do Suthorn Ruins, and even skips getting Swordfighter Form. To perform the glitches required, the Trampoline, Boulder, Sign and Decorative Shrub Echoes are required. This glitch works on both versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1.

How To

  1. Take the Boulder from the Moblin Camp near the Outside of Suthorn Ruins Waypoint, and bring it to the area with the Chest and Zols, using three Trampoline Echoes
  2. Take all four Boulders and the Chest to the other side of the pond. You can put three Boulders and the Chest (and the second chest of the next step) on the last Boulder to make the next transport faster.
  3. Grab the Chest from just above the entrance of the first Cave to the east of your position, and bring it with the other objects you got.
  4. Bring the two Chests and four Boulders near the east entrance of Suthorn Village, place a Trampoline and go on top of the trees. Use Trampolines to Bind and carry the six objects on the trees. Place one Chest EXACTLY at the position in image 9, e.g. on the top left corner of the leftmost tree of the higher layer of trees.
  5. Take the second Chest and place it on top of the first one, then shift it up so that it looks like it’s going to fall, although it doesn’t. This is the base of our Onix Stack.
  6. By climbing on the base of the Onix Stack while Bound with a Boulder, place the latter on the top of the second Chest, and shift it up so that it looks like it’s going to fall, although it doesn’t. (image 11)
  7. Using two Trampolines on the first Chest, place a second Boulder on top of the first one, and shift it up too so that it looks like it’s going to fall, although it doesn’t.
  8. Place the third Boulder on top of the first one and shifted a bit to the left, then climb on the second Boulder and place two Trampolines on top of each other, on top of the first Boulder’s right. Using those Trampolines, place the third Boulder on top of the second one, and shift it up too so that it looks like it’s going to fall, although it doesn’t.
  9. Take the last Boulder, and using Trampolines, place it on top of the third Boulder, and shift it up too so that it looks like it’s going to fall, although it doesn’t.
  10. Place a Trampoline on the northwest corner of the fourth Boulder, and a Boulder Echo on the southwest corner, that you can climb using the Trampoline. Place a second Trampoline on the Boulder Echo using the first Trampoline.
  11. Place a Decorative Shrub where you placed your first Trampoline and go on top of it, then place another Decorative Shrub directly to your right. Echo a Sign on top of the right Shrub.
  12. Perform Map Storage with the Sign, and perform Random Wrong Warp. Despite being random, the goal is to get to Seesyde Village (which is the most common outcome). Other outcomes can be: Getting warped somewhere else less practical and/or softlocked, crash, no warp.

Faster and more consistent setups exist. For more info, refer to this video.

Note:

  • Even if executed correctly, there is a risk that the game will crash after Random Wrong Warping, or warp the player to a place that overworld cannot be reached.
