Description

In single player, press down on a doppel panel, then on the same frame, release and press Y to use an item. This skips the travel time of the spirit orb going from one doppel to the other.

This technique does not work with the Water Rod or Bombs.

Home buffer method

This trick can be performed consistently with the use of the 3DS home menu.

1. Press down on a doppel panel.
2. While keeping the panel held down, enter the home menu.
3. Let go of the doppel panel and exit the home menu.
4. During the transition back to the game, hold Y.
