Objective You must progress through the game in Score Attack on a new save file and defeat Stallord in Level F, essentially beating the game. You may choose to start on Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 as you wish, but Levels 1 and 2 do not count towards the progression of beating the game. Most runs choose to start on Level 3.
Rules There are no specific medal or score requirements for any of the levels. A minimum of a bronze medal (20k points) will unlock the next level in the game, but the number of points obtained does not matter for the run verification.
Any glitches can be used to advance through the game, but newly discovered glitches will need to be verified by moderators before the run is verified.
All general rules in "Game rules" apply.
Timing The timer starts on the first frame when you shoot the "Start" target on the first level of your choosing. The first frame is indicated by the start target shrinking and turning yellow. The timer ends on the first frame of Stallord's death cutscene. This frame is indicated by the camera zooming out as well as Link disappearing.
Console-Specific Category This category is for runs played on an unmodified Wii or Wii U console. This is because using a mouse instead of a Wii Remote can give Emulator players a significant advantage over console players, so we keep the categories separate. For emulator runs, click on the "Emulator" subcategory.
All runs must start on a fresh file unless stated otherwise. You do not need to create a new file at every reset. A new file can also be a file where no level has been fully completed.
All runs under 2 hours require video proof.
All runs require RTA timing
Do not include milliseconds (except ILs)
Please show the level select screen after any run where medals are a requirement. It's not mandatory but makes a mods work easier.
